Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Data processing

LocalKit's tools are designed to process input in your browser whenever possible. How data is handled depends on the particular tool and its implementation.

2. Information you enter

Avoid entering real account passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, financial information, or other sensitive data. A JWT may contain personal information, and decoding it does not make that information safe to share.

3. Files and metadata

The Metadata Cleaner re-encodes images to help remove embedded metadata. It should not be treated as a guarantee that every type of metadata has been removed.

4. Cookies and external services

This page does not require an account to use its tools. The website's hosting provider or browser may process technical information as described in their own policies. Any external services or analytics added in the future should be disclosed here.

5. Policy updates

This policy may be updated when LocalKit's features or data practices change.
